Festivals, fairs and markets set to return as Caerphilly unveils 2026 events

Caerphilly County Borough Council has unveiled its full events schedule for 2026, promising a packed year of family friendly entertainment, festivals and seasonal celebrations across the county borough.

Following a successful 2025 programme that attracted more than 66,000 visitors to key town centres, the 2026 calendar features a wide mix of events designed to appeal to all ages. From spring fairs and food festivals to beach parties, music events and festive markets, activities will take place across the five principal town centres throughout the year.

The Council says the events programme plays an important role in supporting town centres and local businesses by increasing footfall, encouraging spend and raising the profile of towns across the county borough.

Cllr Jamie Pritchard, Leader of Caerphilly County Borough Council, said:

“A strong domestic events programme is important to attract people to the county borough and to provide enjoyment for our own residents. Our county borough events are well attended and liked. But showing that Caerphilly Borough is a ‘place to do events’, attracts UK event such as The Tour of Britain, which has been a strong success. We’re pushing for bigger events all the time”.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to save the dates and get involved, with opportunities available for traders and sponsors to take part in events throughout the year.
