Flowers are starting to bloom and the days are getting longer. It’s safe to say that Spring has arrived! After the success of their Christmas Market, the Team at Focus Newtown Enterprise Hub are excited to announce their first Spring Market.

Situated on the 3rd floor of the Pryce Jones Building, the Spring Market will take place on Sunday 22nd May, between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Entry to the market is free for the general public, and visitors will find over 30 businesses showcasing their fantastic local products. These range from food stalls selling doughnuts and cookies, drinks, arts and crafts of all kinds, soaps and much more.

    Hub Manager, Holly Jones, said:

“Following on from the success of our first Christmas Market in 2021 where we welcomed over 400 visitors, we are excited to be hosting our first Spring Market in May. We work with and support so many great local, independent businesses and our market will give them the opportunity to display and sell their astounding products. We have a variety of activities taking place throughout the day, there’s fun for the whole family. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our first Spring Market!”

“A big thanks to Glitter and Paint Face Painting, Mid Wales Bouncy Castles & Soft Play, Angel Voice Singing School for providing entertainment on the day. These are just a small selection of the outstanding local businesses the Hub has supported, whether this be as a start-up or to grow their business who will also be exhibiting. The Team are looking forward to welcoming local businesses and the general public to the Hub, once again.”

With bouncy castles, a soft play area, crafts, face painting and the wonderful variety of fresh food, tasty treats and products there really is something for the whole family. It will be a terrific event to raise awareness for the amazing makers and sellers right here in Mid Wales.
