GS Verde Group is delighted to announce two promotions, with Matt Sutton being appointed as the new Managing Director of GS Verde Law and Dominic Dineen promoted to the role of Corporate Law Director.

Following continued growth at dealmaking group GS Verde, the business has moved to make two senior promotions in the GS Verde Law team.

Matt Sutton, a long-standing member of the management team and a member of the GS Verde executive board, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of GS Verde Law.

Matt has played a crucial part in the growth of the firm, with a wealth of experience in Corporate Law, as well as leading and developing teams across the corporate division. This new role will see him overseeing the wider Law team including Commercial, Property and Employment departments.

Speaking on his promotion, Matt Sutton said: “I joined GS Verde while the business was in its early stages, and it has been a pleasure to see the business grow to the award-winning business that it is today. I am delighted to have been appointed as Managing Director of Law. We have a great team, and I am very much looking forward to helping us develop further.”

GS Verde has also announced the promotion of Dominic Dineen to Corporate Law Director. The promotion will see Dominic take further responsibility in overseeing deal delivery for the highly active M&A team that GS Verde operates as part of its ‘one team’ offering that brings Law, Finance, Tax and Communications together.

Dominic joined GS Verde Law in 2021 and has quickly progressed through the ranks with several promotions from trainee solicitor, through Corporate Associate, Associate Director, and now Director.

Speaking on Dominic’s promotion, Matt Sutton, Managing Director of GS Verde Law said: “Dominic thoroughly deserves his promotion, it has been a pleasure to work with him and see his progress over the last few years. I am looking forward to working with him further over the coming years as we continue to develop our award-winning corporate law offering”.

Both appointments will see Matt and Dom continue to work together and apply their extensive experience in corporate law to further enhance leadership across the group, as well as it reflecting GS Verde Group’s commitment to developing staff.

Commenting on both promotions, Group CEO Nigel Greenaway added: “At GS Verde, we strive to develop talented people and see them progress in our business. Both Matt and Dominic are great examples of this, and their promotions are testament to their hard work and desire. We are at an exciting stage of growth at GS Verde and we are delighted to announce these promotions”.
