How to apply for ESTA Visa Application in the US?

Traveling to the United States of America from another country requires a Visa and the process for applying for that Visa is through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). The steps are simple to follow and completing them will open the doors for traveling to the U.S.A.

    How To Apply Through ESTA

Applying for a U.S. Visa through the ESTA is easy. First of all connect to the internet using a computer with a reliable internet connection. Then log on to the official website of the Electronic System for Travel Authorization. Follow these seven simple steps:

    1. Answer the Disclaimers
    2. Enter the Applicant Information
    3. Enter Personal Information
    4. Enter Travel Information
    5. Answer Eligibility Questions
    6. Review Application
    7. Pay

Having the relevant information ready will save you time as you connect to the official website and answer the questions there. A few things you should know in order to prepare are the requirements for application as well as who are eligible for application.

Who are Eligible to Apply for a Visa

You may apply for a Visa if you do not already have a U.S. Visa. Furthermore, your travel to the U.S. should be 90 days or less in duration. Another factor of eligibility is if you are a citizen and passport holder of a nation under the Visa Waiver Program. There are thirty-nine countries under the Visa Waiver Program so check if your country is one of them.

Being a citizen and passport holder of a VWP country is by no means a sure pass to getting a visa but it is an advantage. If the Visa Waiver Program and the ESTA process is somehow confusing for you then perhaps take the time to familiarize and educate yourself about what these terms mean by reading the frequently asked questions on this topic. Another reason for undergoing the ESTA process is if you are applying for a new authorisation for one or more persons.

Being clear about the reason for traveling to the United States is a factor that can affect the approval of your application. If you are traveling on business or going on a vacation by yourself or with your family, then your application should go smoothly. The US ESTA application for group and family is not so different from applying for one person. However, applying as a group has its advantages. Your dates of renewal and confirmation will be the same, and you can use one email address so that all correspondence will be centralized.

What Is Needed for the Application

When applying for a Visa through ESTA prepare your Valid Passport because you will need information from it. Also, have your valid email address ready. Have your home address and phone number ready as well. Another thing to prepare is the emergency point of contact phone and email. The fee for application is 14$ which can be paid through MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and PayPal. These few requirements will carry you through the VISA application process.

The Electronic System for Travel Authorization is a simple and efficient way to apply for a Visa. Having completed the process, make your travel arrangements and look forward to a great trip to the U.S.A.
