HOWDEN, the international insurance group with a growing base in south Wales will be hosting a live kicking competition with rugby legend Jamie Roberts to celebrate the launch of the British & Irish Lions’ 2025 jersey.

Howden is the official front of jersey sponsor for The Qatar Airways Lions Men’s Tour to Australia in 2025 and will be helping make history as the first-ever Series Title Partner for the Howden Lions Women’s Tour to New Zealand in 2027.

This week’s kicking event will take place outside Cardiff Library today  (Thursday 14 November) from 10:30 am until 7pm. Jamie Roberts will be in attendance from 10.30am to 12.30pm and will also take part in a Q and A session.

Jamie, who toured with the Lions in 2009 and 2013, and representatives from Howden, will invite the public to kick a rugby ball through Howden’s super-sized ‘H’ and score a goal to be in with a chance to win tickets to The Lions’ warm up game against Argentina at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday 20 June 2025 and gain exclusive access to behind-the-scenes squad training.

There will be additional trivia challenges for lucky attendees to win the new 2025 British & Irish Lions jersey.

The launch celebrations will continue with a tour spanning November featuring Lions rugby heroes in their homeland, including London, Edinburgh and Dublin.
