ACCOUNTANCY and tax experts Kilsby Williams have taken on three new recruits to strengthen its rapidly expanding team.

Sandy Gaywood joins the team as a tax senior, while Sarah-Jane Johnston and Jana Hepton join as payroll assistants.

Sandy has joined the Newport – based chartered accountants with over three years’ experience of working as a personal tax advisor. In her new role Sandy will look after a client portfolio primarily of individuals and partnerships.

Sandy said: “The passion and enthusiasm of the partners at Kilsby Williams really appealed to me and made me realise that I would like to join a team dedicated to providing first class client service.  I hope to pass all my CTA exams and become a chartered tax advisor, brining extra skills to the table.”

After working as an office manager and having payroll experience in two other businesses, Sarah-Jane decided to branch out and develop her skills further within a highly respected accountancy firm.  In her new role she will support the payroll department and process payrolls for Kilsby Williams’ clients.

Sarah-Jane said: “This opportunity has come at the perfect time for me and I look forward to becoming an invaluable part of the payroll team.  Given Kilsby Williams’ professional reputation I hope to grow as an individual and become a full qualified chartered payroll professional.”

Jana joins as a payroll assistant and administrator.  The recent graduate was attracted to Kilsby Williams’ well-established reputation as a leading provider of accountancy services. She decided to embark on an accountancy career after completing her BA (Hons) in Business Studies.

Mary McDonagh, Tax Partner at Kilsby Williams, said:

“We are always on the lookout for bright new talent and the opportunity to work with determined people hoping to expand their knowledge and experience of this industry.

“With Sandy, Sarah-Jane and Jana I believe we have hired some highly ambitious and hard-working individuals who will be assets to the team as we continue to grow.”
