Pembrokeshire artist Sarah Jane Brown will join a host of other local artists for the opening of the NPOS Art Exhibition at Peppers Gallery, Fishguard, this Saturday. This exhibition previews work by the artists involved in the annual North Pembrokeshire Open Studios Art Trail that leads visitors on a journey discovering talented artists and makers around Pembrokeshire.

The exhibition celebrating the North Pembrokeshire Open Studios artists opens at Peppers Gallery, West Wales Arts Centre, Fishguard this Saturday 3rd August to 24th August, 10 am to 5 pm. Sarah Jane’s painting ‘Towards a Crossroads’ will be on display at this exhibition which promises to be an exciting introduction to the Art Trail.

Sarah Jane draws inspiration from the Pembrokeshire coastal landscape, seeking to capture the experience of living in this beautiful part of the world. Her paintings reflects internal landscapes through the beauty of the skies and countryside, the natural drama of the elements and the sea.

As a North Pembrokeshire Open Studios artist, Sarah Jane opens her studio for a fortnight every year for this popular Pembrokeshire Art Trail. This year her Brawdy-based studio opens to visitors from 31st August until 14th September, 10 am to 4 pm, and on Saturday 7th September, there will be a live painting demonstration from 2 – 4 pm. Visitors can take a look behind the scenes of a busy art studio, enjoy an exhibition of coastal paintings, and chat with the artist about her work. Original paintings, prints and art gifts will be available for sale. If you would like to visit at another time, the studio is open by appointment all year round; call 01437 623123 to arrange.
