The Coronavirus control measures in place at Ceredigion’s Household Waste Sites have been under continual review since the sites reopened in summer 2020.

The latest review, which takes into account the reduced use of the sites over the winter period, has resulted in some changes which will take effect on 1 November 2021. The changes are as follows:

The odd and even registration number plate system will be suspended, and the opening hours will revert to pre-coronavirus.

    Opening hours:

    Aberystwyth, Lampeter and Cardigan

    Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 10:00-15:00

    Llanarth

    Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 10:00-17:00

All other measures remain in place and residents are reminded to respect the site attendants and follow instructions on site. All of the Coronavirus control measures and site rules will continue to be reviewed and are subject to change.

Household Waste Sites in Ceredigion are provided for the use of Ceredigion residents only. Site users are reminded that they may be asked to provide proof of residency.
