A lucky mum from Newport has scooped £300,000 on the National Lottery Scratchcard – Cashword Bonus.
The stay-at-home mum in her 50s has been playing National Lottery Scratchcards, including Cashword Bonus and Bingo, since they were first launched.
The winner now plans to use her life-changing prize to pay off the mortgage, help her son buy a new car and treat herself to some lovely new towels.

Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is automatically checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.
