He’s the most streamed classical artist of all time (over 15 Billion views on TikTok!), and following x3 sell out concerts at both The Royal Albert Hall and the Eventim Apollo last year, Ludovico Einaudi*, takes his iconic live ‘Underwater’ show beyond London, on a four-date Arena tour of the UK this October.

Committed to bringing global classical music beyond the Capital, Einaudi carefully selected four UK arenas to perform his sell out shows with his live band, making Cardiff International Arena one of his chosen stops on 19 October.  All shows will be support by acclaimed, award-winning singer, Sam Lee.

Einaudi says, “Being in the live arena, fully in communion with the audience, that’s when my work really comes alive.  When touring the world, so many global artists travel the Capital cities performing their work, whilst the other cities are forgotten.  But I want to reach beyond those Capital perimeters, branching into the other great cities of the UK, sharing that interaction with audiences across the entire country.  That’s why I’m coming back to the UK for my four-date Arena tour this Autumn, and I’ve made sure that Cardiff is on that list.  What a special place to play, and my first time back in Cardiff since pre-Covid days.  I promise to make it a performance that audiences will always remember.”

Ludovico Einaudi returned last year with his first new solo piano album in 20 years, ‘Underwater’, a collection of 12 newly-composed solo piano tracks. The release the album followed some astounding achievements for Einaudi with the release of soundtracks to Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe-winning films Nomadland and The Father (which include tracks from his chart-topping 2019 release ‘Seven Days Walking’), and the compilation album ‘Cinema’, featuring his composition achievements in film and TV.  Einaudi has quietly become one of the most successful musicians in the world. His hauntingly beautiful and evocative music tops the classical charts worldwide, particularly here in the UK, and in his home country Italy. He has performed to huge crowds at the world’s most prestigious venues, and now Ludovico Einaudi is back in the UK to bring his world-class live show beyond London, and Cardiff is one of the specially chosen cities.
