Following a South Wales Police investigation, a man has been jailed after pleading guilty to assaulting and strangling a woman.

Dylan Fuller, aged 26 of no fixed abode, was sentenced for assault by beating, ABH and intentional strangulation.

The offence took place on Sunday October 5, 2025, in Swansea, where Fuller punched and strangled his victim making her fear for her life.

He appeared before Cardiff Crown Court on Tuesday October 28, 2025, where he was sentenced to a total of two years in prison. He is also subject to a restraining order lasting five years.

PC Gregory said “Dylan Fuller launched a brazen and sustained attack against his victim making her fear for her life.

“Nobody should have to experience this type of abuse, and I’m pleased to see that in less than a month after the offence Fuller has been held accountable for his actions.

“I would like to commend the bravery of the victim for coming forward to the police and I hope that this result helps her move forward with her life”
