Founders & Co., Swansea’s much-loved Wind Street hub of independent food, drink, fashion and shopping outlets, is continuing its tradition of nurturing up-and-coming local business talent with the addition of Gentlemens Choice barber shop this autumn.

Jamie McGowan, New Openings & New Concepts Area Manager at Founders & Co. owner Revolution Bars Group, comments: “We are delighted to be welcoming Gentlemens Choice to the Founders & Co. family. Since opening last year, we have been shining a light on the finest homegrown South Wales talent, helping to boost the local economy and encourage a thriving community, and this new concept is very much a part of that journey.”

    Gentlemens Choice

Swansea native Thomas Evans opened the first Gentlemens Choice barber shop in 2018 and since then it has become a firm Swansea favourite. This second Gentlemens Choice site at Founders & Co. will offer the same 5* service at affordable prices as the original branch, alongside its vegan-friendly, in-house designed hair care range, including sea salt sprays, organic beard oils and volumising hair styling powders, all available to buy in-store or online.

The company is offering a special student promotion to celebrate the launch at Founders & Co., with a 20% discount for those with a student card.

Founders & Co. is located in the heart of Swansea town centre, just a 10-minute walk from Swansea train station and a stone’s throw from the waterfront and beach. The unique concept brings together independent local food vendors offering artisan delights and delectable drinks through the day and evening, alongside an ever-changing rota of exciting retailers and programme of unmissable events all year round. Since launching in 2021 it has become the place for locals to go and laze, graze, think, drink and browse.
