The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Mid Wales, a world-leading Eco Centre that demonstrates and showcases practical solutions for a sustainable future, has developed new group travel packages.

Having delivered quality courses on a huge range of sustainability topics for more than 40 years, CAT’s group travel packages are perfect for groups looking for something a little different.

Expert tutors guide visitors through experiences ranging from traditional crafts and sustainable building to ecology and organic gardening. Favourites include clay oven building, nature connection walks and building pallet wood furniture.

A Zero Carbon Britain workshop explores the radical changes needed to rise to the climate challenge. Bespoke workshops and tours range from one-hour sessions to multi-day packages.

On-site accommodation, a vegetarian café, free parking for cars or coaches and acres of woodlands and organic gardens provide the ideal setting.

There are also opportunities to join CAT’s vibrant group of international volunteers for volunteer days when they help to manage the beautiful woodlands or wildlife friendly gardens.

For more information about group travel packages, speak to the group travel team at CAT on Tel: 01654 705950 or send an enquiry through the website – www.cat.org.uk/groups – to learn more. Details volunteering opportunities can also be found on the website.
