The Red Dragon Centre has appointed a new General Manager to take over the strategic management of the entertainment centre, as well as the day-to-day running of the organisation.

Claire Parker joins The Red Dragon Centre after working for Savills for nearly three years as Estates Manager at Parmer Cardiff Waterside in Cardiff Bay, as she looks to further her expertise in the local area. She will continue her role with Savills whilst taking on the new role at the Centre, splitting her time between the two sites.

Officially opened in 1997, The Red Dragon Centre is celebrating its 25th anniversary this August bank holiday weekend with a range of activities throughout the summer months. The Centre hosts 13 different venues who provide a mix of food, entertainment and leisure.

Within her new role, Claire will be responsible for the maintenance of the estate, including reviewing security and cleaning operations and supporting and liaising with brands and car park management.

Claire said: “I’m looking forward to branching out into the leisure sector and managing a premier entertainment destination like The Red Dragon Centre. The past two years have been a turbulent time for the industry, so being given the opportunity to inject fun and vibrancy back into the Centre and lift the brands during such an important recovery year is very exciting.

“As well as the day-to-day running of the entertainment complex, I’m really looking forward to helping support the Centre’s 25th birthday celebrations, whilst providing strategic input into its continued success.”
