Heron Foods, the discount retail chain, has today announced that they’ll be opening a brand-new store on Countisbury Ave in Llanrumney at 9 am on Thursday, 25th November 2021.

The new store has taken on all of the staff from the previous store, who are all long-standing and well-known in the community.

On opening day, the store will be offering a goodie bag worth over £5 to the first 100 customers who spend £5 or more. Not only that, the first 250 customers who spend over £5 will also be offered a scratch-card which will reveal a prize once scratched off. With 5 top prizes worth £50 be found, the opening day event is not to be missed.

Visitors to the company’s Facebook page facebook.com/heronfoodslimited will have the opportunity to choose their favourite charity who will be given £250 as a thank you from Heron Foods to mark the opening of the new store.

Store Manager, Dean Darney, who has worked at Heron Foods for over a year, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening a new store in Llanrumney and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.

“I’d personally like to thank colleagues for their efforts in getting the new store ready, as well as our new neighbours who have already shown support.

“As a retailer within the community, we’ll be bringing local people our huge everyday grocery range at the lowest possible prices.”
