Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has announced the sale of The Goat Hotel, a family-run community pub located in Llanfair Caereinion, Powys.
Dating back to 1650 with records of the Old Court Leet being held there, The Goat Hotel is a traditional village pub comprising six letting bedrooms as well as restaurant area accommodating 25 covers and a smaller, more casual, bar area with a lounge and roaring coal fire.
The property is situated in the charming Powys market town of Llanfair Caereinion, a tranquil spot with historical roots and a strong sense of community which is ideal for those seeking countryside charm with connections to larger towns.

Owners Richard and Alyson Argument decided to sell The Goat Hotel after more than 40 years of successful trading in order to focus on retirement.
Buyer of the property, Sultan Hasan, is looking to build on the pub’s offering and the hard work put in by the former owners.
