    Panto favourite Stefan Pejic joins Swansea Grand line up

    Swansea Grand are delighted to announce that panto favourite Stefan Pejic will complete the cast of this year’s spectacular pantomime Beauty and the Beast 14 December 2022 to 15 January 2023.

    Stefan is a comedian, magician, theatrical magic consultant and director and an award-winning comedy writer & producer. As a collaborator of comedy for BBC Wales, an additional comedy writer for Comedy Central, C4 & BBC is a well-known to Swansea audiences. His TV roles include Casualty, Sherlock & Doctors; Spikey in the HTV soap Nuts & Bolts; Tate in the Zombie Horror thriller The Resort on Netflix; Simonda in Grim A Tale Of Death; Tyler In Internal Bleeding; Dan in So What’s Next; Owen in Everyone Loves A Welsh Girl and Simon in the BAFTA award winning Compassionate.

    With many theatre credits under his belt, Stefan has appeared in many pantos and is thrilled to be back in his hometown of Swansea reuniting with Imagine Theatre this year and says:

    “It is an absolute privilege to be appearing in Beauty and the Beast in my town of Swansea, and I can’t wait to get started with this incredible cast of performers.”

    Stefan will play the title role of the Beast and joins previously announced cast Strictly glitter-ball winner and Casualty’s Joe McFadden and Swansea’s own West End leading lady Hayley Gallivan along with Kevin Johns and Matt Edwards.  Additional cast includes Ella Biddlecombe and Simon Nehan.

    This year marks a new partnership between Imagine Pantomimes and the Swansea Grand Theatre who will be bringing a brand-new production which, alongside all your favourite panto ingredients, will include spectacular LED screens and animation.

    When an arrogant Prince is cursed to live as a beast, his only hope of salvation is to find love before the last petal falls from a magic rose. When pretty village girl, Belle, comes into his life, is this the chance he has been waiting for?

    Beauty and the Beast will be sure to make you laugh, cry and fall in love with a host of hilarious and hairy characters; so, book your tickets now and discover if Belle can see beyond appearances and learn to love a beast!
