Monthly drop-in events to provide help and advice to businesses in Pembrokeshire are restarting.

The events are run by Pembrokeshire County Council in conjunction with the Haven Waterway Enterprise Zone Board’s Business Interaction Group, Business Wales and a range of business support professionals.

The events, originally curtailed by the pandemic, aim to provide help and advice to businesses and start-ups with all aspects of business including finance, growth, marketing and business planning.

The drop-in events are held at the Bridge Innovation Centre, Pembroke Dock.

Organisations attending will vary from month to month but include Pembrokeshire Lottery, Business Wales, Business in Focus, CWMPAS, Landsker Business Solutions, Job Centre+, Visit Pembrokeshire and Federation of Small Businesses.

The Council’s own representatives from Workways, Futureworks and Business Development are also part of the events.

Further specialist advice will be available on specific dates from Development Bank Wales, the Welsh Government Innovation Team and CEMET.

Rachel Moxey, Pembrokeshire County Council Head of Regeneration said: “We are delighted to see the return of these events to assist businesses post pandemic.

“There is no doubt businesses face significant challenges and opportunities ahead and events such as these that allow businesses to engage with the support offered by business professionals are invaluable.

“We have excellent business support organisations in the County and this event aims to bring them together, one day a month, to provide Pembrokeshire businesses with a ‘one stop shop’ for help and advice.”

The event runs on the last Friday of each month between 8am – 12midday excluding the December event which will run on the 16th December.

The next events are Friday 28th October and Friday 25th November. Drop in for a coffee and a chat, no appointment needed.
