Following a recent remodel, PizzaExpress Cardiff St David’s is ready to serve pizza with pizzazz for returning and new customers.

Having long been a favourite with locals and visitors alike since first opening, the restaurant is located in Cardiff’s lively St David’s Shopping Centre, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the famous Cardiff Castle, making it the perfect destination for a meal during a shopping spree or after a day of sightseeing.

Inside the new-look restaurant, customers will now be able to see vibrant colours and sophisticated pendant lighting, along with unique artwork by Italian interior designer Enzo Apicella, who worked with PizzaExpress’ founder Peter Boizot to create some of the brand’s iconic aesthetics. An open kitchen in the middle of the pizzeria, allows customers to watch Pizzaiolos create their favourite pizzas right in front of their eyes. With a touch of theatre brought to the overall dining experience, Pizzaiolos will knead and flare dough before topping it off with customers’ chosen fresh ingredients.

Ready to provide a meal and a show to returning and new customers, PizzaExpress Cardiff’s General Manager, Juliana Couto, and her 20 dedicated team members are excited to show off their remodelled pizzeria.

Juliana said, “We’re delighted to be welcoming customers back to our new-look restaurant. We have a delicious summer menu that we can’t wait to share, including a twist on everyone’s favourite: Dough Balls, along with decadent desserts, which pair perfectly with the beautiful new interiors.”

Customers will find iconic flavours on the brand’s summer menu, including the return of the fan-favourite fiery Dynamite Dough Balls, along with three flavoursome new Buddha Bowls: Goat’s Cheese & Beetroot, Crispy Chicken, and Vegan. There are also hearty Al Forno options, including the creamy Carbonara PizzaExpress, and the delicious Prawn Peperonata. The menu also includes two delectable new desserts: the indulgent Biscoff Billionaire Sundae and the refreshing Summer Berry & White Chocolate Sundae.

Along with iconic favourites as well as veggie, vegan and gluten free options, the pizzeria is also serving up something for the whole family this summer, launching Kids Eat Free from 22nd July – 11th August, giving every child a FREE Piccolo meal – a three-course feast made up of all their favourites, from Dough Balls to pizza or pasta, plus desserts and a bambinoccino – with every adult main purchased in restaurant.
