South Wales Police is continuing to investigate a serious sexual assault in Cardiff city centre which occurred one month ago this weekend.

They are now appealing for the public’s help in identifying four possible witnesses seen here on CCTV.

One man has been arrested and charged, and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident which happened during the early hours of December 27.

Detective Inspector Kath Barry from South Wales Police said: “We appealing to these four individuals in the CCTV, or anyone who may know their identity to please contact South Wales Police, so that we can speak to them.

“I will stress they have done nothing wrong, they are potential witnesses, and may have important information that could assist our investigation.

“We need to speak with them about what they may have seen while in the vicinity of St Mary Street and Callaghan Square during the early hours of Wednesday, December 27.

“I would like to thank the community for the excellent support they have provided to this investigation to date, which has helped enormously.”

A key witness came forward following an appeal for information last month.
