Stefano Carnevale, Senior Investment Analyst at Quantum Advisory, will be providing an investment update covering how investment markets have performed over the last 12 months, and providing an insight as to how pension schemes are positioning their investment strategy to manage volatile times.

Osborne Clarke’s Partner, Claire Rankin, and Senior Associate, Alicia Cain, will talk about Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution governance in UK pension arrangements. The duo from the international legal practice will specify reasons why it has been cranked up over the previous few years, whether it is a step too far, what the implications have been on pension schemes and what further governance is on the horizon.

Finally, Simon Hubbard, Senior Consultant and Actuary at Quantum Advisory will speak to the audience about longevity and how, despite fairly consistent improvements for many decades, why this now seems to be slowing and what the future might hold.
