Swansea City has confirmed that global music star Snoop Dogg will make his first visit to the Swansea.com Stadium later this month.

The worldwide icon will attend the Swans’ home fixture against Preston North End on Tuesday, February 24, with kick off at 7.45pm. It will be his first appearance in south Wales since becoming part of the club’s ownership group in July 2025.

The multi-million platinum selling artist has followed the team’s progress from afar and will now cheer on Vitor Matos’ side in person. As part of the visit, Snoop will appear pitchside before the game to lead supporters in a pre-match fan display, with further details set to be announced soon.

Alongside watching the match, the 21-time Grammy nominee and four-time Emmy award winner plans to spend time in the local community to meet supporters and experience life in the city and wider region.

When he joined the ownership group last year, Snoop spoke about how important the club’s working class roots were in his decision to get involved. He said he has been eager to experience a match under the lights at the Swansea.com Stadium.

“I know it has been a long time coming, but I cannot wait to finally make my first visit to Swansea City and be among all the YJBs for our game against Preston,” said Snoop.

“From the moment we talked about me becoming an owner, I have been looking forward to the chance to be with you all at the Swansea.com Stadium.

“I have heard so many great things about the atmosphere, especially when we play under the lights.

“When I watched the Wrexham game, where we showed we are the capital of Welsh football, the noise in the stadium sounded incredible even from over 5,000 miles away. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

The visit is expected to attract huge interest from fans, with the club preparing for a memorable evening both on and off the pitch. More information about the pre-match activities will be released by Swansea City in the coming days.
