Swansea and Neath-based law firm Hutchinson Thomas has welcomed two new lawyers to its Property team. Both Jemma Collins and Jacqui Jones are Residential Property lawyers based in the firm’s Neath office.

[aoa id=”1″]Jemma, a qualified solicitor for almost ten years joins from Hughes Jenkins Solicitors, where she dealt with all types of conveyancing in the Cynon Valley/Rhondda Cynon Taff area. Prior to that she worked for Richard Thomas Solicitors, where she completed her training contract, and then for Glamorgan Law, serving the Caerphilly area.

Jacqui has worked in Residential Property for five years, most recently at Insight Law in Cardiff, and before that at Griffiths Ings in Barry. Prior to that, she worked in Commercial Property in Bristol. This year she became a 10 years qualified Chartered Fellow of ILEX.

Jacqui added: “I met the Hutchinson Thomas team a few years ago, but at the time, had unfortunately already accepted another role. When a role became available and I was contacted again last month, I was very happy to finally join Hutchinson Thomas. The firm has an excellent reputation and I was honoured to finally become a part of the firm, where I am able to work alongside a team with a wealth of experience and vast knowledge.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with local clients and expanding my current residential property knowledge. I enjoy the fact that each property is different, be it Freehold or Leasehold. I enjoy unravelling the complexities of the title to fully understand what the client is buying or selling.”

Partner and Head of Property Huw Jones said he was delighted to welcome both Jemma and Jacqui Jemma to Hutchinson Thomas’ growing Property team.

“Both Jemma and Jacqui have a strong background in Property law, and a proven track record in delivering excellent outcomes for clients,” he said. “Customer satisfaction is at the heart of what we do, so recruiting enthusiastic, committed team members such as Jemma and Jacqui is essential. We are impressed by the depth of their knowledge and by their professional approach to their work, and look forward to seeing them develop further with us.”
