Small business owners and entrepreneurs from across South Wales are being invited to a major conference in Swansea this September focusing on the opportunities and challenges facing firms.

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Wales has announced its South Wales Small Business Conference 2026, which will take place at the Swansea.com Stadium on Wednesday, September 2.

Sponsored by the Welsh Government, Swansea Bay City Deal and Business News Wales, the event will bring together small business owners, entrepreneurs and aspiring founders to share practical insights aimed at helping businesses compete and grow.

A range of expert speakers and successful entrepreneurs will take part, with sessions covering some of the key issues facing businesses today.

Artificial intelligence will be among the main topics, with attendees able to learn more about using AI tools to improve productivity and save time.

The conference will also explore ways businesses can improve the customer experience, current trends in digital marketing and how to convert interest into sales.

Collaboration will also be a focus of the event, with a diverse range of exhibitors attending, including small businesses and business support organisations.

Organisers say this will give attendees opportunities to make new connections and access insights that could help them grow their businesses.

Rob Basini, Development Manager for FSB in South Wales, said:

“We’re delighted to be bringing the South Wales Small Business Conference to Swansea this September, at a time when many small firms are looking for practical support and the confidence to take the next step.

“The agenda has been shaped around the real opportunities and challenges facing businesses today, from making better use of AI and improving customers’ experiences, to overcoming barriers to growth and improving sales processes.

“Just as importantly, the conference will provide a valuable opportunity for businesses from across the region to come together, exchange ideas, build new relationships and leave with practical insights they can put into action.”

Tickets for the South Wales Small Business Conference 2026 are available now, although spaces are limited and early booking is recommended.

    Lunch and refreshments are included.
