RVU,  owner of Confused.com, Uswitch, Tempcover and Money.co.uk, is pleased to announce that Steve Dukes has been appointed CEO of Confused.com.

Steve joined Confused.com as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer in 2019, bringing together product, commercial and data operations and signalling a period of significant growth for the business.

Before joining Confused.com, Steve served in product leadership and general management roles in high growth companies within the financial services and eCommerce sectors. This included serving as CEO at Commuter Club, where he oversaw a period of key transformation within the company.

Steve takes over from Louise O’Shea, who has stepped down as the company’s CEO after almost six years.

Tariq Syed, CEO of RVU comments, “Steve is a proven product and business leader who we are confident will drive forward the next generation of innovation in our services and enable Confused.com to continue to support its customers for many years to come.”

“I would like to thank Louise for leading the business over a significant period of transformation and growth.”

Steve Dukes, CEO of Confused.com comments, “Over the past 12 months we have seen a significant change in the insurance industry and a challenging economic climate. We will work closer than ever with our partners to get better deals, and improve our proposition so that we’re providing the best possible service for our customers.”

“Confused.com is a fantastic brand, with a strong history, firmly rooted in South Wales. I’m humbled by how dedicated our team is to delivering for consumers at a time where getting the best value for services is more important than ever.”
