A burglar from Swansea has been jailed after he repeatedly targeted homes and vehicles in his area, including twice targeting the home of woman in her nineties.

22-year-old Brandon Williams, from Morriston, entered multiple addresses in the Morriston area in November 2024 and July 2025, taking money and keys from inside and also occasionally making off with vehicles which were parked outside.

After pleading guilty to non-violent burglary and theft, Williams has been sentenced to three years and three months in prison.

    Detective Sergeant Samuel Stanway said:

“Brandon Williams is the kind of selfish criminal who makes people, especially elderly people, no longer feel safe in their own homes.

“He clearly deliberately targeted a woman who was vulnerable due to her age, which is despicable in itself, but to take her house keys and money that she had set aside to pay for her boiler to be serviced the next day, Brandon clearly has an absence of any form of morals.

“He was entering his next victim’s house whilst the previous theft was being investigated. He is someone who doesn’t care at all about his community, and his community will now be free of him for a number of years.”
