T4 (Tea For You), the renowned bubble tea brand known for its Taiwanese drinks, is excited to announce the opening of its first store in Cardiff this week.
The store will open its doors for the first time at midday on Friday, November 1st. Located across the road from the National Museum Cardiff, T4 offers a selection of popular beverages, including bubble tea, smoothies, and milkshakes.

One of the standout features of the T4 menu is its high level of customisation—it’s more than just adjusting the ice and sugar; customers can tailor their drinks entirely to their liking without sacrificing the intended flavour. Additionally, there are a range of toppings available, such as pearls, coconut jelly, and green tea jelly, providing a personalised touch to each drink.
This new addition marks T4’s expansion into Wales, joining over 50 successful locations across the UK, including Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, and London.
The Cardiff franchise is fronted by local entrepreneur Sean Tao, 27, founder of Cardiff restaurant Tuk-Tuk. Speaking about the launch, Sean said, “We’re incredibly excited to bring this new venture to Cardiff, especially as all our ingredients are sourced directly from Taiwan, ensuring that every drink we serve is made fresh in-house.”
Sean added, “Beyond just offering great bubble tea, we’re proud to be extending job opportunities within the hospitality industry, creating new roles in Cardiff, and giving staff from TukTuk the chance to further their careers with us. We’re confident that T4 will help diversify Cardiff’s market and bring a top-tier bubble tea experience to the city.”
To celebrate the store’s opening, T4 will be offering 50% off all drinks during the first week, giving customers the perfect chance to try out the menu.
