Techniquest launches new festive dining offering at its unique venue

Educational charity Techniquest has teamed up with local caterers Cleverchefs to cook up a unique festive offering for Christmas 2018.

The organisation has joined forces with its catering partner to produce a range of corporate packages designed for end of year celebrations.

Taking place in the organisation’s architecturally celebrated building and set against the unique backdrop of Mermaid Quay, parties at Techniquest will also bring out guests’ inner child as they get the chance to enjoy its 130 interactive exhibits.

As well as a host of corporate events packages, the science discovery centre will also be holding shared parties for smaller companies or departments.

Without the need to hire the entire venue, the shared party packages allow those in the Christmas spirit to enjoy the experience of a high-end party while sticking to a modest budget.

Enjoying a hearty menu, shared party guests can look forward to butternut squash velouté, traditional roast turkey dinner, and indulge their sweet tooth with a double chocolate tart with pastry and blood orange sorbet.

Gareth McTiffin, Events Manager at Techniquest said:

“We’re thrilled to launch our festive offering, and we’re proud to be able to hold such special events in a unique venue.

“We’ve worked with Cleverchefs to create the ultimate feast. With our prime location in Cardiff Bay, new exhibits and exciting Christmas packages, we’re really on top of our game and ready to provide Christmas parties with a difference.

“We’re already feeling the joys of giving, and we’re giving away additional benefits to our first corporate bookings of the year. If you’re one of our first Christmas bookings, you could be getting free drinks on arrival, a show in our Planetarium or Science Theatre, gift bags, or complimentary busking activities.

“Whether you’re planning a party for the whole office, or smaller celebrations for your team, it’s never too early to start planning, and we’ll be hearing those faint sounds of jingle bells before you know it!”
