The Botanist, an award-winning bar and restaurant brand, will be opening its 20th venue to all on Monday 10th February.

After much excited anticipation, guests are welcome to explore The Botanist Cardiff’s secret escape in the city, where every visit is set to be a wondrous occasion.

As promised by its name, expect a botanical garden lush with plant-adorned walls, cosy seating, and an exclusive outdoor terrace – ideal for sunset drinks, cocktails in the sunshine or al fresco dining – right in the heart of the Welsh capital! Plant life meets a chic-yet-casual atmosphere, with the down to earth nature of your favourite local.

    The Botanist cocktails

Set to be the go-to venue all year round – including match days – The Botanist Cardiff aims to provide you with an eclectic selection of showstopping cocktails (or mocktails) including the botanical Rhubarb and Sage Spritz or a crowd-pleasing Pink Gin Punch. Alongside this, there is an impressive array of wines, ales and beers, including The Botanist’s very own Tribal Ale. Plus, a handpicked gin list to explore The Botanist’s favourite selection of gins from across the U.K.

Catering to all dietary requirements, The Botanist’s seasonal menu is inspired by the comforts of home and includes the signature Hanging Kebabs™; plus other favourites such as the indulgent Baked Camembert to share, warming pie selection and mix-and-match Deli Boards. All can enjoy The Botanist’s unique dining experience with delicious vegan, vegetarian, non gluten and dairy free dishes – there’s something for everyone.

From March, The Botanist will also be hosting Cocktail Making, Ale Tasting and Gin Pairing masterclasses which are perfect for groups of six or more. So whether you’re celebrating an occasion or looking for an alternative team building day, our experts can cater your masterclass to suit. Plus, guests can enjoy live music every night celebrating talent from near and far – truly an atmosphere like no other!

Alex Budge, General Manager of The Botanist Cardiff said: “Our beautiful new venue, located on Church Street, has blossomed into a wondrous world of botanicals, ready for our opening on Monday 10th February. The space brings together the best elements of the traditional pub; reinvented for Cardiff with its botanical twist and breath-taking interiors. We’re so excited to open and the team can’t wait to welcome Cardiff to enjoy a new experience!”

For a limited time only, guests can enjoy an exclusive launch offer of 15% back in loyalty credit until March 29th 2020 with My New World. Following this date, guests can continue to enjoy 5% back in loyalty credit. Simply download the app, ‘My New World’ and start earning rewards today.
