Cancer support charity Maggie’s Cardiff is delighted to announce a collaboration with The Diamond Centre of Wales to help raise much needed funds to support people with cancer across South East Wales.

The Diamond Centre has designed and made a beautiful one of a kind pendant that Maggie’s will raffle. Tickets are just £5 and anyone can enter online to win this unique piece of jewellery worth over £2600 https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/maggie-s-cardiff1

Kelvin James of Diamond Centre Wales said “We are proud to be able to design and create this wonderful piece of jewellery that will raise funds for Maggie’s Cardiff. We know what a difference services like this can make in helping those affected by cancer, especially during these difficult times.”

Since it opened in May 2019 Maggie’s Cardiff has supported more than 18,000 visits from people with cancer and their family and friends in need of Maggie’s support which includes tailored specialist help, nutrition workshops, stress management and benefits advice.

Maggie’s Centre Head, Sam Holliday said “We are excited to work with Diamond Centre Wales. The pendant is beautiful, and we can’t wait to present it to the lucky winner. The funds raised from this raffle will help us continue our support for anyone affected by cancer. Cancer is possibly the hardest experience of a person’s life, yet coronavirus has made living with cancer even more difficult. Our centre is here in the grounds of Velindre Cancer Centre for everyone that needs us. There’s no need to make an appointment, just come in.”
