We are pleased to announce that the marathon and 10k will be returning onĀ Sunday, May 5, 2019.

The ABP Newport Wales Marathon is the national marathon of Wales and boasts a fast, scenic route – arguably one of the UK’s flattest marathons – with over 70% of participants claiming a PB in 2018.

Starting and finishing on Newport’s vibrant riverfront, the route offers scenes of iconic landmarks, coastal wildlife, picturesque medieval villages and a high-profile opportunity for locals and visitors alike to experience the recently regenerated city-centre.

The much-anticipated race has finally satisfied the demand for a premier marathon distance mass-participation event in Wales, made possible by the support of Associated British Ports, Newport City Council and the Welsh Government.

To mark the launch, a limited number of discounted launch entry tickets are now available for £45.

You can register for the ABP Newport Marathon and 10k 2019 here.
