Three new lettings have been signed at the Global Reach multi-let office building on the Celtic Gateway Business Park in Cardiff Bay.

Financial services provider Red Apple Group is moving from Penarth to lease 7,769 sq ft on the second floor of Wing A of the 60,000 sq ft building on a 10 year lease

Kevin Paterson managing director at Red Apple Group said: “After more than 25 years in Penarth we are starting to outgrow our long standing premises and Global Reach has proved to be the perfect fit for us. The modern specification and high quality refurbishment gave us a great starting point for our new fit out and the start of an exciting new chapter for Red Apple Group.”

Diabetes UK Cymru charity is relocating from offices in Cowbridge Road East in Cardiff into 2,615 sq ft on the ground floor of Wing A, while the online quotation firm Active Quote Ltd has expanded in the building by leasing a 4,315 sq ft office, also on the ground floor of Wing A.

Sally Taylor-Goodwin, communications manager, Diabetes UK Cymru, said: “We are delighted with our new office space at Global Reach. The open-plan space feels fresh and modern, and the great location provides us with the flexibility and accessibility we were looking for in order to welcome the charity’s volunteers, supporters and visitors from across Wales.”

All the new transactions were agreed at a rental of £12.50 per sq ft.  In each case joint letting agents Knight Frank and Fletcher Morgan advised on behalf of Asset Manager Stainton International. Cooke & Arkwright advised Active Quote.

Mark Sutton, partner at Knight Frank in Cardiff, said: “We have had a very successful year at Global Reach with Red Apple and Diabetes joining Willmott Dixon who moved in to Wing A last year. The supply of quality office space in Cardiff – both in and out of town – remains very limited and the remaining 1st floor space represents exceptional value for occupiers.”

John James of Fletcher Morgan added: “Celtic Gateway Business Park is home to a number of high profile business occupiers, including BT, NFU Mutual, Cardiff Council, KTS Owens Thomas and Austin Smith Lord. Cardiff Bay Retail Park. The new Cardiff International Sports Village development are within a short walk of Global Reach.”
