In the commercial property team, Daniela Smith, who specialises in both investment and development related commercial property transactions, becomes a new partner. Daniela has a particular emphasis on retail and mixed-use development schemes, site assemblies and landlord and tenant transactions across real estate, retail and leisure, hotels and real estate finance sectors.

Eve Piffaretti, Head of Blake Morgan in Wales, said:

“I am proud to welcome these new Partners. Their appointments reflect our commitment to developing and retaining the people we want in the firm as part of our future.

“We place tremendous value on our culture of mentoring, training and developing our homegrown talent, as demonstrated by our policy of promoting from within wherever possible.

“It takes hard work and sustained effort to achieve partnership in a very competitive legal market, and so this is a significant milestone for every individual. It is also an investment in our future as we look to achieve our business objectives and consolidate our market position.

“Our new partners will play an important role as we build on our strength and depth as a leading national firm with a wealth of expertise across the full range of practice areas.”
