This month, Towergate Insurance Brokers Cardiff are celebrating the run up to festivities with activities to raise money towards their chosen charities.

The initiative has been organised by Adrian Bonas, Charity Champion at Towergate Cardiff and is encouraging involvement from all within the team to raise money for The Wallich, Save the Children, and The Alzheimer’s Society. A collection point for Cardiff Foodbank has also been set up for donations throughout the period.

Much fun will be had as colleagues get involved in festive activities such as a quiz, cake tasting, Secret Santa, pass the parcel, and Christmas cracker pulling whilst supporting these charities.

Adrian Bonas, who specialises in Charity/Third Sector, Care and Faith Insurance and organised the initiative said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to raise money for these charities and have a donation point for Cardiff Foodbank. At this time of year, some charities can feel the strain more than others and I think it’s really important to be doing what we can to help them.

If everyone in the office took part in just one charity activity it would cost them £2. For one person that might not be much but as it adds up it can make a huge difference to these charities. To organise this for the team means we’re all able to get in the jovial spirit and enjoy the festive season even more so knowing it’s in aid of some really great causes.”
