Cymru now know what awaits them at the 2026 FIFA World Cup should they make it through the play offs in March.

The tournament draw was made today in Washington DC at the John F Kennedy Center, where the winners of Wales play off path were placed in Group B. If Cymru qualify, they will face Canada, Qatar and Switzerland.

Craig Bellamy’s side must first get through a tough play off route. Cymru will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the semi final, with the winners going on to meet either Italy or Northern Ireland in the final.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held across Canada, Mexico and the United States. The opening match takes place on Thursday 11 June at Mexico City Stadium where Mexico will face South Africa. The final is set for Sunday 19 July at New York New Jersey Stadium.
