Wales is set to enjoy a spell of warm and sunny weather over the coming days, although chilly nights and early morning fog could catch some off guard.
According to the Met Office, Thursday will remain bright and sunny across much of the country once any early cloud clears. Conditions will turn slightly hazy from the south later in the afternoon, but lighter winds compared to earlier in the week will help temperatures climb to around 20°C.
Despite the pleasant daytime conditions, temperatures are expected to drop sharply overnight. Clear skies and light winds will allow for patchy cloud to develop in the east, with mist and fog forming in some areas. Rural spots could even see a touch of grass frost, with temperatures dipping to around 4°C.
Friday is expected to bring more of the same, with any early mist and fog clearing quickly after sunrise. Another bright and sunny day is forecast, with temperatures again reaching around 20°C and feeling slightly warmer than Thursday.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the settled conditions are set to continue. Warm sunshine and light winds are expected on Saturday, making it ideal for outdoor plans.
However, there is a slight change on the horizon for Sunday, with an increase in cloud cover and the possibility of an isolated shower. This could see temperatures dip slightly, although it will remain mild overall.
The start of next week is expected to stay largely settled, with a mix of sunshine and cloud continuing across Wales.
