Leading wedding specialists the Oldwalls Collection, invest over £200,000 in their founding venue, Oldwalls Gower to offer Wales’ first ever all-inclusive multi-day wedding experience.

Using the exclusive venue’s rustic setting, Barn, Oakroom and Glamping Village as the foundation for its redevelopment, the updated venue will offer couples the only all-inclusive venue for multi-day bohemian chic-style weddings in Wales.

Inspired by its Gower countryside location, the venue has worked closely with group interior designer Elizabeth Styles – responsible for the renowned interiors of their luxury sister venues, Fairyhill and Sant Ffraed House, to create a brand new look and feel. The bohemian-chic scheme will offer couples looking for an alternative to the classic white wedding.

The £200,000 investment in the 50-acre Llwyn Y Bwlch Farm (Oldwalls) will result in a complete revamp of the interiors using natural materials and designer print wallpaper to accentuate the luxurious, relaxed feel the venue is known for.

The garden will also be updated, introducing an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and seating area at the centre, offering guests more opportunities to appreciate the beautiful landscape. The in-house head chef will also redevelop menus, focusing on feasting-style experiences created using the freshest local produce.

In a joint statement, co-founders Andrew and Simon Hole comment:

“Oldwalls Gower was one of the pioneers of the exclusive wedding experience in Wales and has been one of the most popular venues in Wales for over 15 years. So we felt that now was the right time to inject a new lease of life into our beautiful founding venue and redevelop the product to embody the multi-day country farm wedding trend.

“We can’t wait to unveil the new and improved venue we’ve worked on alongside Liz. The revamped Oldwalls Gower will be fresh and innovative, giving our couples who have already set the date and those searching for their dream venue more choice and flexibility.”

Group interior designer Elizabeth Styles adds:

“It’s been so much fun working on the Oldwalls Gower redesign. Working with the Oldwalls Collection is always exciting – you get to play with what makes each venue different. With all the space & charm already available on the farm, creating a look  for rustic, festival-style weddings was an obvious choice.”
