Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Dyffryn Pharmacy in Dyffryn Cellwen, a picturesque village on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.

Dyffryn Pharmacy is a standard-hours community pharmacy dispensing an average of 3,300 items per month. After more than 20 years of ownership, Denise and Peter Littlewood brought the pharmacy to market to allow them to retire.

Following a full sales process with Richard Thomas at Christie & Co, Dyffryn Pharmacy was sold to a local pharmacy group that plans to grow the business by introducing a range of NHS and private services.

Richard Thomas, Senior Business Agent – Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “Dyffryn Pharmacy is a real community asset. Being in a rural area, it provides an indispensable service to local residents. I am delighted to have acted for Denise and Peter to ensure the community continues to receive the care it needs, and I wish the new owners every success in their plans for the future.”

Dyffryn Pharmacy was sold freehold for an undisclosed price.
