Cymru players have joined Welsh mental health charity Hafal to make you aware of some simple steps to maintain your wellbeing through the coming months.

The COVID-19 outbreak is having a large impact on our daily lives, with many people required to self-isolate and everyone being asked to adhere to social distancing measures. The FAW understands that this can create worry for anyone and even greater anxiety for those with an existing mental health problem.

Working in partnership with the FAW, Hafal have further detailed five helpful tips to follow during this time.

    • Keep in touch
    • Don’t over-expose yourself to negative news
    • Keep your mind active
    • Look after your physical health
    • Support other people

Welsh footballers including Angharad James, Dan James, Jess Fishlock, Harry Wilson, Chris Hunter, Tash Harding and many others share their tips in the advisory video.

More details on these tips can be found here.

This advisory campaign will also feature across online adverts, utilising the ads which were initially dedicated to promoting this week’s cancelled senior men’s matches.

Find more information on Hafal’s Promise – A pledge to their client group to provide ongoing friendly support and contact in addition to access to Hafal’s online community Clic where people can talk safely to others about their mental health.
