Welsh homebuilder announces phased return to construction

Welsh homebuilder Llanmoor Homes has announced a phased return to construction on its sites across South Wales.

While construction sites have been deemed a permitted activity by Government subject to maintaining social distancing and other guidance, Llanmoor considered it essential that procedures were put in place to ensure the health and wellbeing of its workforce, their families and its customers and took the difficult decision to close the business with effect from 24th March .

New working practices and protocols have now been prepared, taking into account guidance from Government, the HSE and other organisations, to allow a phased return to work across Llanmoor’s developments. The company’s Site Management will be starting implementation measures as to its new procedures with effect from Monday 11th May and proceeding to a phased return of the workforce from 18th May.

Due to the new procedures and protocols, it will take some time for the business to re-establish its build programme and timeframes.

Llanmoor’s sales centres will not re-open to visitors for the immediate future, but with effect from Thursday May 14th its sales team at each development will be contactable either by the sales telephone or email contacts. They will be making contact with customers to update them and assist them with any questions as soon as they can. The sales team will also be available to assist new customers with any information relating to the development.
