Atebol, a Welsh publishing house specialising in children’s books and educational resources, has been shortlisted in two categories at the Bett UK 2024 Awards – a celebration of the most innovative solutions and technologies transforming the lives of students and educators worldwide.
The Bett Awards are a highlight of Bett UK, the world’s biggest EdTech event. Taking place at London’s ExCeL Centre from 24-26 January 2024, the show will bring together more than 30,000 educators, innovators, and changemakers from around the world.
Produced in association with the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), the Bett Awards recognise excellence across all realms of EdTech, from digital platforms for monitoring student progress to online resources supporting teacher training.
Atebol has been shortlisted in the categories for Primary Free Digital Content App or Open Educational Resource and Educational Resource for Parents or Home Learning. The publisher has been recognised for its innovative approach to bringing stories to life through its rich variety of bilingual resources, produced in both English and Welsh. Atebol also provides online learning games and is the largest developer of Welsh language apps. Ffrindiau Bach (Little Friends), an app designed to assist 3- to 5-year-olds in learning the Welsh alphabet, in particular has been shortlisted in the category for Educational Resource for Parents or Home Learning.

The winners will be announced at the Bett Awards ceremony, taking place on 24 January 2024 at The Brewery in London.
