The family of a man who died following a road traffic collision near Pentraeth have paid tribute to him.

Arwyn Jones, 29, from Llanfairpwll, sadly died following the incident on the A5025 (Pentraeth Road) on Sunday, 25 January.

In a heartfelt tribute, his wife, Sioned said: “As his wife, I am heartbroken. Arwyn was a much-loved husband, father, son, and brother and as a family, our lives have changed forever following his loss.

“Arwyn and I had been together for over 15 years and was the love of my life. Our daughter, Lilly, was his life. Our world has been torn apart.

“He would do anything for anybody and enjoyed his work as a kitchen assistant at a care home in Pentraeth, where he had worked since September last year.

“He was Star Wars mad, he enjoyed gaming, loved going for long walks in the woods and chopping wood with his dad.

“We will all miss him dearly.”

Officers continue to appeal for witnesses and information to help with their ongoing investigation into the incident that happened between Pen-Y-Garnedd and Pentraeth Automotive.

The incident involved a grey Peugeot 208 and a gold Audi A5 Quattro.

Anyone who was driving along the A5025 at around 6.30am on 25 January, and who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant dash-cam footage, is asked to contact officers.

Anyone with information can contact North Wales Police via its website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 26000067199.
