Police have seized £12,000 in cash and nearly seven kilos of cannabis as part of an ongoing operation targeting crime and anti-social behaviour in Llanrumney.

South Wales Police is continuing Operation Tellima, which is targeting drug dealing, associated anti-social behaviour, illegal off-road bikes and violent crime in the Cardiff community.

So far this month, officers have arrested three people on suspicion of drug supply offences.

Police have also located and dismantled a cannabis factory as part of the operation.

A total of £12,000 in cash and nearly seven kilos of cannabis have been seized.

Officers have also taken a number of vehicles off the road, including four illegal e-bikes, two quad bikes and a mini scrambler.

South Wales Police said information provided by people living in the community is essential in helping officers identify and target criminals and locations of concern.

The force said: “We can, and regularly do, act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming.”

Anyone with information can contact South Wales Police online or by calling 101.

Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Always call 999 in an emergency.
