5 Tips for Marketing Your Welsh B&B

If you run a B&B, then you’ll know how important marketing is. A good marketing campaign can be the difference between a fully booked property and one that gets the odd guest here and there, so it’s an important part of running a B&B.

Here are some tips to help you market your Welsh B&B.

    Build a Website

There are lots of large platforms you can use to get your property in front of your target audience today. Websites like Airbnb are great resources for property owners, and they’re a good way to start getting guests to your B&B.

However, you’re always reliant on these platforms to provide you with an audience, and you pay for the privilege.

If you can create a successful website, then you can cut out the middleman, and it’s not as difficult as it might seem. Make sure you’ve got a good all in one desktop computer, and think about building your own site.

    Make Use of Social Media

Social media is a great way to show off your property.

You can create social media pages for the property itself, and you can post content on your own social media profiles. It’s all about getting the word out there, and you never know who might be interested in staying in your B&B until you put it out there.

There is a huge audience on social media, so it’s well worth posting regularly and trying to reach potential guests.

    Reviews are Huge

When you live in such an in-demand area as Wales, then there’s always going to be a lot of competition to attract guests.

One way to stand out from the crowd is through excellent reviews.

Social proof plays a big part in people’s buying decisions, and lots of positive reviews can make a huge difference to your business. Make sure you’re following up with your guests and asking for that all-important feedback.

People don’t mind taking the time to give you a review, especially if you’ve given them a wonderful experience.

    High-Quality Images

It’s hard to underestimate the importance of good quality images.

When it comes to choosing a B&B, people are reliant on the information you give them to make an informed decision. If your images are low-quality, then it’s hard for people to know exactly what they’re getting.

High-quality images will give people much more confident about what they’re paying for and help you get more bookings.

    Advertising

If you’re not getting as many people to your listing as you would like, then it can be a good idea to look at your advertising options.

The right advertising campaign can introduce your property to a targeted audience and bring in consistent bookings. There are lots of different advertising options, so look at the likes of Google, Facebook, Pinterest, and others and find out which is the best option for your Welsh B&B.

A good advertising campaign can have a big impact, so take a look at this option.
