Cardiff’s newest street food kitchen and cocktail bar, Neighbourhood Kitchen & Bedrooms, will be opening its doors for indoor dining on Wednesday 2nd June! Located a short walk from Central Station, in the shadows of Principality Stadium, the soon-to-be foodie hotspot will be hosting some of Wales’ best independent chefs and street food traders.

    Neighbourhood Kitchen & Bedrooms

Neighbourhood Kitchen & Bedrooms will be open weekly, Wednesday through ‘til Saturday, hosting you for breakfast, lunch, dinner and your favourite weekend drinks. With a whole load of Welsh street food talent still to be announced, Neighbourhood Kitchen & Bedrooms will see the likes of Pimp My Porridge, Rogue Welshcakes and Sin Nombre Tacos take on residencies at the venue in June. Championing Welsh produce wherever possible and in addition to the epic street food traders, Neighbourhood will also be working with Welsh suppliers such as cult favourites at Cardiff farmers markets, Deez Dough Nutz, vegan brownie experts, Comfort Food, and local coffee connoisseurs, Little Man Coffee Co.

Partnerships with Welsh breweries will include Flowerhorn Brewery, Tenby Brewing Co. and with wine pairings produced by Gays Who Wine, the drinks will be a big part in the kitchen concept. With a delicious cocktail list, your evenings with friends are covered, from post-work Thursday sauvignons to settling in on a Saturday to work your way through our menus. From Breakfast Martinis and Mimosas to a Maple Syrup Old Fashioned or a Spiced Rum and Passion Fruit Mojito, the exclusive cocktail list will have something for you at any point in the day… after all, it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere!

“Finding ourselves on furlough at the start of the pandemic, it encouraged us to speed up our 5-year plan. We sat on our sofa during lockdown V1.0 and wrote our dream business plan together – and we set about finding a suitable venue in Cardiff. It’s been a long ride but we’re thrilled to be opening the doors to Neighbourhood Kitchen this June” – Tudor and Caroline, owners of Neighbourhood Kitchen.

Neighbourhood Kitchen & Bedrooms has been operating a click and collect service since April this year, in addition to partnering with local music venue, Tramshed, in a collaborated pop up throughout May. The upper floors of Neighbourhood will soon be transformed into a collection of boutique bedrooms available to book for short stays. Just a stone’s throw from Cardiff city centre, it’s the perfect spot for a getaway with friends, a place to crash after a gig or game and the ideal spot to give tourists a taste of Cardiff’s culture. More information on Neighbourhood Bedrooms to be released in the coming weeks.
