Denbighshire Leisure Ltd are thrilled to announce another huge outdoor show coming to Rhyl Spring 2022.

Pop sensation Tom Grennan will be performing at the Rhyl Events Arena on Sunday, 10th July.

The Bedford born singer has had an extraordinary year playing to huge crowds at Reading, Leeds Latitude & TRNSMT festivals as well as a massive SOLD OUT 15 date UK tour to support his album Evering Road which he described as a “thank you note” following a breakup back in March. It was flanked by the singles ‘This Is The Place’, ‘Oh Please’, ‘Little Bit Of Love’ ‘Amen’ and ‘Something Better’, and went on to earn Grennan his first UK Number One album.

The show at The Events Arena in Rhyl follows the highly successful Tom Jones concert earlier this year and is again delivered by award winning promoters Orchard Live.

Pablo Janczur form Orchard Live said ‘We’re really excited about returning to Rhyl after such an amazing and successful night with Sir Tom Jones back in September, this is the first announcement of a series of shows we will be bringing to Rhyl next summer!’’

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, said; “We’re thrilled to be bringing this chart-topping act to Rhyl. It is fantastic to see such a high profile performer coming to Rhyl. Denbighshire Leisure Ltd is incredibly proud to be working with Orchard Live again this year after an incredibly successful Tom Jones concert. This is yet another example of Rhyl becoming the destination of choice for investors and performers.”

Discussing the themes behind ‘Evering Road’, which follows his 2018 debut ‘Lighting Matches’, Grennan said: “This album has been such a therapeutic experience, it has helped me through one of the toughest times of my life.

‘Evering Road’ documents a transitional stage for me, where I felt I’ve learnt so much and grown into a new man, moving myself into a new calm and positive space.”

Following the album’s release, Grennan linked up with Calvin Harris for the collaborative single ‘By Your Side’.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, 29th October via Gigantic.com and Rhyl Pavilion Box Office on 01745 330000.
