Outdoors retailer Millets are delighted to announce that on 12th May they are opening a new store in Tenby, located at 10 High Street, SA70 7EU.

It comes following a post-pandemic boom in the popularity of outdoor exploration, bucking the gloomy trend seen elsewhere on the British high street.

With over 100 stores, Millets are well known around the UK for offering an extensive range of quality, affordable outdoor equipment and clothing for the whole family. The new store will be the go-to destination in Tenby for outdoor enthusiasts, stocking everything from waterproof jackets, to tents, walking boots, rucksacks and more.

Opening their doors on Thursday 12th, there will be a store launch taking place on 17th May to
    officially mark the store’s opening.

This 1,300 square foot store is an exciting addition to the portfolio, stocking a variety of desirable brands such as The North Face and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Eurohike and Peter Storm.

The store itself takes the place of Card Factory, creating circa 10 new jobs ranging from the Store Manager to weekend Sales Assistants.

The high-street favourite benefits from a very knowledgeable team who can offer boot and rucksack fitting. Customers can also order goods online and collect in the Tenby Millets store for their convenience.

Charlotte Johns, Regional Manager of Millets commented:

“Despite challenging circumstances in the current retail climate, we’re thrilled to be growing our UK store presence and are particularly happy to become part of the Tenby community.”

“Our Store Manager Stuart and his team are excited to open their doors, with the goal of inspiring and equipping the people of Tenby for life outdoors.”

From the 17th of May, Millets Tenby will also be offering all customers a 15% discount for two weeks to celebrate their opening.
