Since football is the most avid sport worldwide, not only fan clubs but online sports betting have grown rapidly with an unprecedented activity level. As long as the trend gains popularity, bookmakers and punters keep a close eye on football news, including matches, footballers’ private lives, and careers. In this post, let’s take a look at football drama unfolding before participants and spectaculars right now. It deals with Christian Dannemann Eriksen and this halfback’s amazing renaissance after the Euro’s horror.

What’s the point? “Manchester United” management is giving serious consideration to signing the contract with Christian Eriksen, Brentford’s midfielder.

Christian Eriksen and His New Twist of Fate

As early as last summer, Eriksen’s career was in jeopardy after his heart had stopped at Euro 2020. The halfback spent months in rehab and ended his contract with Inter.

This winter, “Brentford” decided to take a risk with a 30-year-old player and signed a contract until the end of the season with the option to extend to the next year.

Well, the football club took a chance, and it paid off. Eriksen’s return turned out to be successful – a score plus 5 t touchdown passes, and 7 wins in 11 matches for “The Bees.” However, the agreement was valid until June. That’s why Christian has the right to look for new options as free agent.

By the way, “Manchester United” is not the only contender for the Dutchman since it has been associated with “Tottenham” and “Ajax.” So, Eriksen has quickly rejoined the cohort of the top football clubs’ players. According to Transfermarkt, the midfielder’s current value is €15 million.

Christian Eriksen vs. Frenkie de Jong: to Sign or not to Sign

According to additional information from the source, Mancunians’ bosses communicated with Dannemann and offered a contract to halfback. The interest lies in that Frenkie de Jong, the midfielder from “Barcelona,” may refuse to transfer to Manchester’s club. Interestingly, both clubs are still interested in the deal but cannot agree on the sum.

So, the Catalans do their best to beat out of the English as much as possible to get money for their rebuilding. In turn, “Manchester United” has all the necessary financial resources. However, the club took a principal stand. “Devils” are ready to pay the market price of up to €80 million for Eriksen. Nevertheless, “Barcelona” wants to make the deal closer to €100 million, which has made MU angry. So, the English club threatened to withdraw from the negotiations if Barça kept demanding such huge sums.

As you see, commercial and private events are no less influential than football teams’ mastery when dealing with winnings. Hence, it’s highly recommended to consider professional football betting tips and follow the news before trying to benefit from matches.
