    Pride Cymru announces Boney M as Sunday headline act

    Pride Cymru is back for 2022 and is delighted to announce that Boney M will be Sunday’s headline act for the first live Pride event since 2019.

    Boney M will lead an exciting Sunday line-up at the City Hall Event that includes Victoria Stone, and Britain’s Got Talent stars Welsh of the Westend who will follow an incredible Saturday line-up including Melanie C, Bimini and Mary Mac to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first pride march in the UK.

    Gates will open on the City Hall event site from 11:30 on Saturday 27 August, and midday on Sunday 28 August.

    Gian Molinu, Chair of Pride Cymru said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce a stellar line up of artists for this year’s Pride Cymru, including welcoming the legends that are Boney M to the stage on the Sunday.

    “After a three-year hiatus this is set to be an exciting year and will be amazing to get the LGBTQ+ community together once again.

    “Our team of volunteers have been working hard to make sure that this year we are back with a bang!”

    The festival entertainment will kick off with Saturday’s Pride March, which will retrace the steps taken by the first pride marches in Cardiff, followed by performances from three stages over two days at the City Hall site.

    Standard adult entry tickets cost £15 per day, with Children’s tickets (5-14) £5 per day. Under 5s attend for free. You can also purchase VIP Package tickets for £30 per day.
