Cardiff-based public relations agency Petersens PR has made a key appointment to help take the business to the next level.

The agency has hired experienced practitioner Darren Evans as PR Manager to oversee its client accounts.

Darren has worked in PR for seven years in a variety of agency and in-house roles and was previously a journalist for 13 years.

He said: “I’ve been working with Rob and the team on a consultancy basis, and I’ve seen the huge potential in the business, so I’m excited to take the next step and become a permanent part of the team.

“Although Petersens prides itself on being a ‘boutique’ agency, it has an impressive and growing client list across a range of sectors.”

Director Rob Petersen founded the agency in 2003 after a long and award-winning career in advertising and marketing.

He said: “Darren has already proved invaluable to the business, helping us to win new clients and mentoring our interns and account executives, so we’re delighted to bring him on board full time.

“With Darren as part of the team, we’re looking forward to an exciting new phase of growth.”
